Limeburn Hill Vineyard was planted at Westfield Farm on the lower slopes of Dundry Hill overlooking Chew Lake in the spring of 2015. It is the first biodynamic vineyard in the south west and grows six varieties of red and white grapes without using artificial fertilisers or pesticides.

We grow or forage a variety of plants for use in teas, tisanes and liquid composts that encourage a soil that is full of life. We also work to a lunar calendar which influences the best times for planting, havesting, pruning or simply watching the plants grow. We will soon be introducing animals into the cycle, with ploughing by horses, mowing by sheep, and slug patrol by ducks.
